Client: Grandma’s Cookies on Main
Grandma’s Cookies on Main is a local cookie shop in Historical Downtown St. Charles that ships their cookies nationwide. Their cookies are AMAZING to say the least.
Reason for Project: They had a current site built in BigCommerce that was not meeting their needs. They needed a new site with a new modern design.
Resolution: A new site was designed and built in WordPress with a custom backend utilizing WooCommerce as an ecommerce solution.
What I did: I created a new template with a new design to keep their customers attention and attract new clients. Woocommerce, Shipstation and custom ordering system hooked up to a thermal printer in their kitchen to allow online orders to print straight to the cooks.
This allowed them to easily edit the content. I also built in product templates for WooCommerce. I ran speed tests at the end, and adjusted where needed. In the end, the site was cleaner, matched the main site, and was faster. Client was happy.
